We hope the Northeast Oklahoma edition of TRAVELHOST, America's #1 Travel Magazine for over 40 years, will be a convenient and informative guide to the best the area has to offer, making your stay here fun, exciting and memorable. Inside you'll find maps, distinctive destinations, must-see entertainment and attractions, dining and shopping guides, plus an up-to-date calendar of local events to make sure you experience everything available in our wonderful region.

Tulsa, the second largest city in Oklahoma, has much to offer in arts, entertainment, shopping and dining. Notable areas in Tulsa include The Brady District, Brookside, Blue Dome District and Cherry Street that boast scrumptious cuisine, unique shops, art galleries and exciting nightlife. Surrounding the city of Tulsa are several amazing communities to visit for their small town ambiance combined with big-city amenities. Be sure to head east to Broken Arrow, a haven of incredible dining and shopping (don't miss Main Street!) and south to Jenks for family attractions, dining, shopping and entertainment at RiverWalk Crossing and arts and antiques on Main Street. Less than an hour north of Tulsa, you will find Bartlesville with many museums, dramatic architecture, art collections and world-renowned events.

Traveling northeast from Tulsa along historic Route 66, you will encounter Claremore, birthplace of Will Rogers and known for its many antique shops and museums. Continuing on Route 66, you will find delightful small towns around Grand Lake, a popular destination for a wide variety of recreational activities such as boating, fishing, swimming and water sports. The towns surrounding the lake are filled with boutiques, gift shops and cafes. The historic town of Miami, along Route 66 near Grand Lake, is rich in Native American history. Vegas-style casinos, championship golf courses and quaint wineries are a few other things offered in our region.

We hope you enjoy your time with us here in the Sooner State and come back often. We're glad to have you with us!
