Dedicated to the heroes of WWII

Located on the south runways of the Akron Canton Airport, you will find the area's only authentic WWII restaurant. Dedicated to the heroes of the war and celebrating its 18th year in business, the 356th caters to young and old alike. The area's biggest and best Sunday brunch (60ft long) served weekly 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Open M-Sa for lunch 11a-3p. Located at 77N or S on exit 113.

The 356th Fighter Group is the area's only authentic WWII restaurant dedicated to the heroes of the war. The 356th Fighter Group was an actual airborne team that saw combat in the European Theater. Three squadrons of planes (the 359th, e60th, & 361st) made up the 356th Fighter Group. These pilots flew the P-47 Thunderbolt and then the famed P-51 Mustang while escorting the B-17 Bombers across the English Channel to safety. This group was stationed at the Martelsham Heath Airfield in Suffolk, England. The 356th Fighter Group completed a total of 413 combat missions. It is to these brave and courageous men that we dedicate our restaurant.
